Abstract

Karapyak Beach is a natural tourist destination in the Pangandaran district. The attraction is a stretch of white sand and coral rocks along the beach. Another beauty that can be enjoyed from Karapyak Beach is the reddish brown color gradation of the sea that blends with the blue color of the sea that can be seen during the day. Due to the meeting of river water with sea water, there is a beautiful sea color gradation. To find out the development carried out in the Karapyak Beach tourism object, it is necessary to study internal factors and external factors as well as other components in supporting the development of this tourism object. The data that has been obtained through interviews and distributing questionnaires to respondents who visit the Karapyak Beach tourism object is processed using SWOT analysis, so that it can produce the right conclusions to develop the Karapyak Beach tourism object.
