Abstract

This study aims to find out ; 1) the influence of participants motivation towards interest to join the sport event tourism Justice League Fun Run 2019, 2) the influence of participants perception towards interest to join the sport event tourism Justice League Fun Run 2019, 3) wheter participants motivastion and perception simultaneously influence interest to join the sport event tourism Justice League Fun Run 2019, 4) the differences motivation between participants from in Surabaya and out Surabaya. This study is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were participants in the event Justice League Fun Run 2019. The sample was taken using propotionate stratified random sampling technique and Issac Tabel with error 5% and find 258 sampel. Data collection technique were likert scale of quesionnaires. The result of this study indicates that, 1) participant motivation positively influenced interest to join sport event tourism , 2) participant perception positively influenced interest to join sport event tourism, 3) participant motivation and participant perception simultaneously influenced interest to join sport event tourism, 4) there was no different participant motivation between participant from Surabaya and out Surabaya, 5) there was no different participant perception between participant from Surabaya and out Surabaya.
