Abstract

Liman Beach is currently under development to become a superior tourist attraction in NTT Province, to be part of “Tourism Estate-In The Ring Of Beauty”. Lack of tourist data, and hard access to the location also the current Covid-19 pandemic situation, have resulted in the development of Liman Beach being a superior tourist attraction not fully optimized. Qualitative research approach was used in this study, the populations record was taken by utilizing a purposive sampling technique. Sample data were collected utilizing observation, interview, documentation, and triangulation. The collected data then gets reduced, displayed, and validated. Moreover, the data get analyzed using SWOT analysis. From the study, we discovered that the potential of nature tourism is great, good terms between the community and the government in funding part, safety, and, cleanness of Liman Beach is strength in its development. Although the promotion has been good, it hasn’t been able to increase the desire of tourists to visit Liman Beach, due to the hindrances in acces to cross between island and damaged land roads, limited public facilities, lack of capable human resource in tourism, moreover telecommunications are unavailable.
