Abstract

Teritip’s Crocodile Breeding is known as the crocodile breeding that has the largest number of crocodiles in East Borneo, with about 1.000 of crocodiles. This breeding began to operate as a tourist attraction in 1991 and has a land area of about 5ha. This place is managed by CV. Surya Raya. However, the management is still very lacking in managing crocodiles as an attractive tourist destination. Both in facilities & infrastructure, and quality of hygene that’s still got less attention. And also the community around the Teritip’s Crocodile Breeding area doesn’t contribute predominantly in management, but the relationship between the manager and the surrounding community doesn’t have a problem that disrupts the management of crocodile breeding. By using descriptive qualitative method, the result of SWOT analysis can be concluded that it is necessary to raise the awareness of human resources on tourism, then improve the quality of Teritip’s Crocodile Breeding facilities, then often conduct periodic inspection of tourist objects.
