Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the strategy in preserving Mujahadah tradition which is Javanese Culture and to know the influence of Mujahadah tradition on society. Therefore, the researcher proposes Mujahadah tradition as Javanese Cultural Heritage. The research used qualitative method and SWOT analysis by writing the result of fact-based analysis, observation, interview and documenting the research process. Based on the research that the researcher had done, the procession of Mujahadah tradition is the Javanese community habit that contains elements of Islamic religion. Efforts to preserve the tradition is increase awareness and interest of the community because the role of society is very important in the implementation of the tradition of mujahadah. Besides that mujahadah tradition can unite among citizens and society.Mujahadah tradition example is Nyadran,Pinuwunan, Slametan.
