Abstract

Referring to the background, there are several things that become the answer in the problems that the author examines, the role of the government in the development of the gulf is not yet seen, such as the absence of direct assistance dan govenment intervention in the field, but the government has played an importan role by legalizing and granting permission to operate the attration of Teluk Kiluan, in the tourist visits alone, Teluk Kiluan has a stable tourist visit, but in this the promotion of promotions periodically and fixed will greatly help increase the number of tourist visits. The community itself support the exsistence of tourism activities, even some people already have a decent cottage as a form of support and for the convenience of visitors. This research uses qualitative research method is a research method based on post positives philosophy, used to examine the condition of natural objects where researchers are as a key instrument, source sampling and data are done purposively and snowball, with analysis SWOT Teluk Kiluan has the potencial for tourism such as : special interest and nature tourism, other attractions such as : Dolphin tour, snorkeling,diving, laguna gayau, shark teeth, and others
