Abstract

Tanjung Beach is a tourist attraction located in the Tanjung Village, Northeast Bunguran Sub- district, Ranai village, Natuna regency, Riau Islands province. This beach is one of the favorite tourist attraction in Natuna district because of its strategic location, access to easy sights, and not far from the city center. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive technique. This method describes the components of tourism, the potential of tourist attraction, how the development strategy of Tanjung Beach tourist attraction,and how the role of gevernment and society in this case. The result of this study indicate that development strategy that has been done with the aim of development are (1) Tanjung Beach has been incorporated into 10 priority destinations that must be developed in Natuna, (2) Organizing events to promote tourist attraction involving the role of the community in its activities
