Abstract

Kedung Ingas Waterfall is one of the tourist attraction located in Kulon Progo, precisely in the Village Sidorejo, Dusun Kwarakan Kulon Progo. and also within the area of Sidorejo Tourism Village. Kedung Ingas waterfall includes a new tourist attraction in Kulon Progo, with an easily accessible location and good road access. Another advantage possessed Kedung Ingas Waterfall this is, the atmosphere is still beautiful, cool and quiet. So that visitors can relax from tired city atmosphere. This research method using qualitative method with descriptive technique. Methods can describe the components of tourism, the potential of a tourist attraction, how the development of tourist attraction Kedung Ingas Waterfall, and what the role of society and government in this case. The results of this study indicate that the development strategy that has been done for the purpose of development Kedung Ingas Waterfall is (1) Conduct training for tour guides, tour players and business travel, (2) Coordination of ongoing both government and the public about the area attractions
