Abstract

Kraya Beach is one of the beaches located in West Kotawaringin precisely in the village of Kraya. The role of the community in managing tourism on the coast of Kraya is still passive and not maximally due to the limited knowledge and ability possessed by the community in managing tourism. The strategy that the management can do to attract tourists to visit, is the manager works with the community by providing friendly waiters and when visitors find it difficult to find information the community can help. In this case the community is in need of assistance from the government in providing guidance to the community about how to provide good service to tourists who come to visit The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method where the research method only describes or describes the research variables without looking for links of other variables
