Abstract

Cultural tourism is one of the functions in maintaining the identity, values and norms of the nation. Good management of cultural tourism can anticipate the negative impacts of globalization. The research method is used qualitative method and the file analysis is using SWOT analysis, where the SWOT analysis is used as a problem formulation on the identification of various factors based on the understanding and knowledge of an object. The role of the Government in the development of Sindang Barang Village Culture has not been seen clearly despite the regulations that regulate the development but it has not fully realized. But the role of the community is clearly visible through the support of the people who are aggressive to create art program such as reog dance performances and train for free for interested visitors. It's all in order to attract teenage tourists to preserve their culture. For that needed a strategy in its development, such as in cooperation with the government, the promotion of tourism to local communities, optimal promotion and more focused tourism planning again.
