Abstract

Tourism is one of the largest sources of foreign exchange after the oil and gas, Indonesia which notabenya country with natural wealth and cultural diversity abundant has a great opportunity in the development of tourism, especially with nature tourism trends or Back to Nature, is not impossible if Indonesia's tourism compete in the interational arena. The Ropoh Pine Forest is a natural-based tourist attraction on the slopes of Guung Sumbing, Kabupaten Wonosobo, more precisely in Ropoh Village, Kepil Subdistrict, Wonosobo Regency. Ropoh Pine Forest Presents The beauty of the pine trees in mixed with the view of the mountain cleft, Ropoh pine forest should be developed as an ecotourism-based tourist attraction. The purpose of this study is to obtain information on the role of government and community in developing the Ropoh Pine Forest, and how the development effort. The method used by itself is the method of skin, where the researcher do observation, menyebran kuisioner and interview both at tourist and parties concerned, so writer can do nalisis data and SWOT analysis at pine forest ropoh, with questionnaire counted 36 responden and interview as much 40 sources. Based on the results of research conducted by the author can be concluded that the role of government to pine forest ropoh only limited the permit will place, while the role of the community itself is maximized where in the management of the direct hold by the community, for its own development efforts are still much to do in between revitalizing existing facilities such as: public wc, existing attractions, and other public facilities, as well as rearrangement of tourist areas.
