Abstract

West Nusa Tenggara, tourism development of Lombok very soar from year to year, Lombok has many attractions such as Rinjani mountain, pink beach, kuta beach, tramena island and many more another natural attractions,one of whice newly built is Kebun Raya Lemor. Researchers do in research about Kebun Raya Lemor area as tourism education due to support economic sector and education of Lombok. In this article, researchers use qualitative methods related to the development of Kebun Raya, , in collecting data conducted by observation, interview, quisioner, and literature study. The data has been obtained then the author analyzed using SWOT analysis. From the results of research that the authors get from the analysis that the development of Kebun Raya Lemor as tourism education of east Lombok is already working well, lokal government to be responsible in management and development by using priority scale, communities participated in development of such as holding a natural school,promotion, managing to parking area, providing lodging, the security and comfort of tourists.
