Abstract

In the area of Banyumas especially in Kebasen sub district and precisely in Kalisalak Village there is still one of the traditional ceremonies that every year is implemented. The ceremony is called penjamasan Jimat. Qualitative research method is a research method used to examine the condition of natural objects. This ceremony is a tradition that generally still has the belief that the objects that have been granted / blessing / sacred / supernatural powers for the safety, dignity and personal welfare of each community even around it. The government and the community work together in preserving the Kalisalak Jimat Packaging Festival by supporting supporting facilities such as good road access, and improving the promotion strategy with the internet media one of them and By preserving the dances as well as other cultures,
