Abstract

This study discusses Umbul Pelem's Development Strategy. Umbul Pelem is the name of a spring that was just inaugurated in May 2018 as a swimming pool from a natural spring built in Klaten Regency on Jl. Tegalgondo - Janti, Dukuh, Wunut, Tulung, Klaten Regency, Central Java 57474 As a new tourist attraction in Klaten, it needs to be improved to attract development and to attract tourist visits. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collected using observation techniques, interviews, documents, and questionnaires. Then the data is processed using SWOT analysis, interview sampling is taken from the community, visitors and managers. Based on these results, researchers analyzed the data to find a solution in the form of Umbul Pelem's development strategy as a tourist attraction in Klaten, Central Java
