Abstract

The Air Island area is an area consisting of four islands. Two of them are the main islands which have several potentials, including the gap of the island that is divided so as to form a flow like a river, the sea water is calm, clear and overgrown with a variety of marine biota so this area is very suitable as a snorkeling spot. The researcher used qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires, and direct observation at region of air island. Region of air island has a lot of tourism potential that needs to be developed in order to attract more tourists. So, managers need to work together with the surrounding community to develop and optimize their potential.
