Abstract

Sumba island is and island located in eastern indonesia. This island holds a lots of natural wealth in the form of nature tourism , culture , and others. Traditional house of sumba is one of form of sumba society culture. Traditional house has a very unique form where the house consist of three parts, namely the top is used to store objects of heirloom , the middle is used for human activities, and the bottom is used for farm animals.The goverment is very helpful to the community in terms of meeting the needs and for the role of their community is always working, maintaining and preserving the custom house sumba Descriptive qualitative research is a research method that only describes or describe variable rapport research without seeking other variables.
