Abstract

Tradition 10 Sura Sheikh Ahmad Al Mutamakkin is a cultural activity that is still maintained by the community supporters up to now. This tradition is a khoul ceremony that aims as a means of honoring and glorifying the figure of Sheikh Ahmad AlMutamakkin who is believed to be the guardian who has spread Islam in the area of Pati and surrounding areas. This tradition was carried out in the village of Kajen Margoyoso sub-district, Pati district. The research method used by writer is qualitative research method. With data collection techniques include observation data, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Based on the results of this study, the suggestions can be given as follows: the existence of the tradition of 10 Sura Shaykh Ahmad Al-Mutamakkin in Pati district should be an effort to keep maintained and preserved its values, especially by the younger generation as cultural heir. Development of the management of facilities and infrastructure of the grave should also have the attention of the government so that this tradition can be used as an object of spiritual tourism that can be developed its potential for Pati district, especially as a supporter in improving the welfare of Kajen community itself.
