Abstract

Developing of tourism business is very important for improving people’s economy. One step to develop tourism is to change villages into tourism villages. Desa Wisata Cempaka is one of the attractions located in Tegal Regency, precisely Bumijawa District. Desa Wisata Cempaka is also one of the pioneers of the development of a tourism village in Tegal Regency which has considerable potential and opportunities. With the support of the concept of digital tourism, Desa Wisata Cempaka can develop its village into a recreation area that follows the development of trends and the desires of tourists. Based on this, the authors conducted research in the Desa Wisata Cempaka using 4A components consisting of attractions, amenities, accessibility and ancillary sevice as a reference in the development of tourist villages. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques such as observation, questionnaire interviews and documentation. While data processing techniques use reduction, data presentation and triangulation which are then analyzed using SWOT analysis. In the research results that the Desa Wisata Cempaka has developed quite well, but requires new innovations, maintenance of facilities and comfort obtained by tourists, so that it remains a tourist attraction in Tegal Regency which has a lot of tourist interest.
