Abstract

Pentingsari Tourism Village is a tourist destination with a natural perspective on the slopes of Mount Merapi, which offers natural beauty, cultural authenticity, and the empowerment of local residents who are very well organized. This Pentingsari Tourism Village has a tourist attraction and potential that can be developed, so that it can attract local and foreign tourists to visit more. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method and analysis SWOT. The results of this study can be concluded that the Pentingsari Tourism Village is a tourist village that has a natural environment-friendly tourist attraction with many achievements. However, there are factors that need to be evaluated for the future. Proper development and management is the key to increasing tourist visits and community welfare.
