Abstract

The special region of Yogyakarta is one of the cultural heritages of the Golek Ayun Ayun dance which is one of Yogyakarta's cultural heritage. which was drawn specifically for women created by Romo Sas in 1976. The classical dance should be preserved to be recognized by the wider community, and become a tourist attraction in Yogyakarta Qualitative research method is a research method used to examine the condition of natural objects The role of the community in the preservation of the swinging Golek Ayun ayun dance is very important, such as teaching dance Golek Ayun Ayun, and there is a dance studio studio that still teaches classical dance can be used to display the dance Golek Ayun Ayun in art events or at dance studio events and increase promotion to be known by society and tourists. With the preservation of Golek Ayun Ayun dance is also a good impact for the continuity of dance studio that still teaches classical dance and for the economy
