Abstract

Sultanate of Kadriah Pontianak was the beginning of the story of the founding of the city of Pontianak, a Sultanate ruled by Sultan Syarif Abdurahman Alkadrie which was established in 1771. Hundreds of years passed, now the Sultanate of Kadriah Pontianak leaving cultural heritage to the next generation, and all that should be conserved. So that the wealth of the cultural heritage that is not broken and does not disappear. Pontianak Government do cultural heritage preservation by means of issuing policies that support conservation. Community participation in terms of preservation by means of getting to know and love their cultural heritage. As the next generation, we should have already contributed in the process of preservation, by the way do the protection, development and utilization to the existing cultural heritage, as a form of preservation, the purpose of which is so that the tourism potential is owned can be optimized for the sake of prosperity together.
