Abstract

Pangkalan Bun is located in Central Borneo which has kind of culture. Pasir Panjang Village is one of cultural tourism village in Pangkalan Bun, that still preserving cultural heritage in the form of traditional clothes. The existence of traditional clothes increasingly scarce as the times progress, thus requiring the role of stakeholders for the preservation clothes. In this research, author use qualitative research method, where the techniques observation, documentation, and interviews as a technique of data retrieval. And use SWOT analysis approach to process the data. The existance of traditional clothes is began to scarce because of current development. The role of the goverment through the provision of facilities and funding is very beneficial in the preservation of traditional clothes. The procurement of a cultural festival is a form of promotion needed by Pasir Panjang Village. Community empowerment can be relized through pokdarwis.
