Abstract

Sumber Village is one of 33 TourismVillages that have been recognized byMagelang government. Sumber Village isaTourism Village with the concept community based tourism by developing the potential of culture and supported bythe potential of nature. This research uses qualitativeresearch methods with data collectiontechniques such as observation,questionnaire, interview and documentation. Data processing techniques used are data reduction, datapresentation, and conclusions orverification. Then the data in the analysisthrough SWOT analyst. Tourism development in Sumber Village specializes in culturalpreservation, learning, local wisdom and nature exploration. Sumber Village ismanaged by the Village Government and also the community at the village without special assistance from the districtgovernment.
