Abstract

Mount Suru Sukorini tourism object is a tourist attraction located in Kulon Progo Regency, precisely in the village of Hargomulyo, Kokap. This tourist attraction has the power to attract natural beauty in the form of extraordinary scenery. But the potential of this tourism object has not been able to develop optimally. The author conducts research using qualitative methods, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires as supporters. The data collected is sourced from various sources such as Gunung Suru Sukorini tourism manager, local government, and communities around tourism objects. From this research resulted some effort that can be done to develop Mount Suru Sukorini object to become the leading destination in Kulon progo Regency step to do that is by improving facilities and infrastructure, promoting the maximum, and tuor packages this strategy is expected that tourists could be more
