Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the potential and attractiveness of tourism as well as the role of society and government in the development of Teluk Asmara Beach in Malang Regency East Java This research method using qualitative method and SWOT analysis, that is by writing result of fact analysis and doing research, interview, and also documenting result of research. Asmara Gulf Coast tourist attraction has the potential of nature tourism that must be maintained its authenticity. For the development of Teluk Asmara beach is managed by Perhutani Department. The people should participate in the development of tourist areas directly in the management.
