Abstract

Mempawah Mangrove Park is a ecotourism in Pasir Village, Mempawah Hilir, West Kalimantan. The method in this research used qualitative data by conduction interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The study aims to determine the management of mangrove forests as ecotourism, knowing community participation and management of tourist attractions to increase tourist visit. The result of the study showed that manager planting activities with third parties and from the planting can increase education. POKDARWIS played a major role in improving the management of mangrove forest conservation and improving the quality of tourist attraction by creating new attraction such as photo spot, flyinh fox, canoes and holding activities in Mempawah Mangrove Park.
