Abstract

Lagoon Beach is a tourist destination located in the southern coastal region Kebumen which contains natural scenery such as the existence of a lagoon near the shoreline, pine cones, and another with black sand. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Data collection methods used in this study were intrerviews, questonnaires, observation, and documentation. Data processing is done by reduction, display, verification, and triangulation. Data analysis using SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). The results of the study show that the lagoon beach is a natural tourist destination that must be managed so that the preservation of the ecosystem in it is maintained. By involving all aspects of society and also the government to jointly guard this tourist place to be able to increase tourist visits both locally and internationally. Public awareness that is not maximizing this tourist spot less well maintained. But there are still some that need to be added and improved such as facilities, accessibility, cleanliness an other alternative attractions as well as maximizing the promotion and potential of this Lagoon Beach.
