Abstract

Batang city has many tourist attractions. One of them is Celong Beach tourist attraction. Strategy is needed from the government through local government in developing attractions in the city of Batang, especially on the attractions Celong Beach as Ekotourism more interesting and enthused by the community. Type of research used in this research is descriptive by using qualitative approach. Technique of collecting data in this research with observation (observation), interview, and documentation. The results showed that one of the efforts made by localgovernment is to maximize the development of Celong Beach tourism object which made tourism by doing development such as nature tourism, adventure tourism, environmental rides. In general, the results show that localgoverment has maximized possible efforts to develop the Celong Beach tourism object. Society also plays an important role for the development of Celong Beach. The community participation of Celong Beach area is realized in the form of participation and participation on tourism socialization.
