Abstract

Saringgana Waterfall tourism object located in Sulkam Village, Kutambaru Marike District, Langkat Regency has the potential of the beauty and diversity of flora and fauna in it. Has a height of ± 60 meters and has a heavy water discharge. However, this tourism object has not been managed optimally and is still managed by the Karang Taruna of Sulkam Village.Taruna of Sulkam Village. This study uses descriptive qualitative methodology. This method identifies potential components and those that are still lacking as well. evaluating the development of Saringgana Waterfall attractions. The data is obtained through observation, documentation, results of questionnaire interviews with related parties. In an effort to develop, Saringgana Waterfall tourism object needs a strategy which includes forming POKDARWIS so that it has the right manager, improving road access, building facilities and infrastructure. Then the main obstacle faced is the lack of funds to realize the development efforts, so that cooperation with the private sector or investors is needed to invest, because there is no cooperation with the government on this tourism object.
