Abstract
Doho Embung is one of the artificial tourism objects built in the village cash area of ± 2 ha, which is precisely located in Doho Village, Kec Girimarto, Wonogiri Regency, Central Java. Doho Embung was originally a rainfed embankment used to assist rice field irrigation by the Doho village community, which is currently being developed as a tourist attraction. The potential possessed by Doho Embung tourism object is the beauty of the surrounding landscape and the beauty of the sunset. In this study, the authors conducted a qualitative research method, because the research data was more concerned with interpretation of the data found in the field. The government and the community are very important in the effort to develop the Doho Embung Tourism Object that will be carried out, such as the government providing funding assistance for development costs, and the community participating in supporting development efforts in the form of energy and appreciation of ideas or ideas about the efforts to be made. In terms of promotions, it will be carried out by means of frequent events at Doho Embung Tourism Object, such as cultural performances.
