Abstract
Instagram is currently a popular social media that has been used by people aged 16-64 years. Aesthetic elements attract Instagram users to view and search for content. Studio Alam Gamplong has a unique and interesting building attraction, so that by utilising Instagram it cam attract more tourists. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between aesthetics an Instagram on tourist interest. The method used is descriptive quantitative, using 100 respondents who use Instagram and know about Studio Alam Gamplong as a sample. The data analysis technique uses a classic assumption test which includes normality test, multicollinearity test, heterocedasticity test, and auto correlation test. In addition to the classical assumption test, hypothesis testing was also carried out which included the t test and F test, multiple linear regression test, and the coeffiient of determination. The results of this study indicate that aesthetics and Instagram have a positive influence on tourist interest, with a coefficient of determination of 43,6%.
