Abstract

Yogyakarta stands out as a tourist destinations in Indonesia that offers a touristsfriendly area for international tourists, namely Prawirotaman Street. There are a lot of general facilities available in Prawirotaman, such as restaurants, cafes, bars, homestay, money changer, travel agents, and etc. The research seeks to investigate whether the independent variables such as motivation (X1) and tourist attraction (X2) have influence on dependent variable which is tourist interest (Y) amon international tourist in Prawirotaman Street Yogyakarta. Quantitative method and purposive sampling were applied in this study involved 100 respondents and was carried out using SPSS 30. Refer to the t-test results, it was observed that the t-value for X1 was 4,403 > t-table value was 1,290 and the t-value for X2 was 4,039 >1,290. This suggests that there is a partial correlation between the independent variables (X) and the dependent variable (Y). Furthermore, referring to F-test show significance value of 0,001 < 0,10 and an F-value of 64,572 > F-table value 2,36. It is meaning that X1 and X2 simultaneously affect Y variable. It also known that the coefficient of determination is 0,571 or 57,1%, the rest is 42,9% impact by other variables. This research finds that it was discovered both motivation and tourist attraction have a positive and significant influence on international tourist interest in Prawirotaman Street Yogyakarta. Additionally, the study offers suggestions that can support the development of Prawirotaman Street as a tourist-friendly area, especially for international tourist.
