Abstract

SGPC Bu Wiryo is one of the legendary culinary tours in Yogyakarta. This research was conducted because in today's era, where technology is increasingly sophisticated and tourism options are also growing, SGPC Bu Wiryo still maintains its traditional concept. This study aims to determine the factors that influence tourist interest so that they want to travel to SGPC Bu Wiryo. In addition, it wants to know what historical value is contained in the history of SGPC Bu Wiryo because it is one of the legendary culinary tours in Yogyakarta. The research method used in this research is narrative qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this research are tourists and the owner of SGPC Bu Wiryo. The results of this study refer to UGM alumni who visit SGPC Bu Wiryo to reminisce. Therefore, the conclusion of this research is that what influences tourist interest is the historical factor by way of nostalgia and the historical value in it which acts as a tourist attraction, loyal tourists and as a promotional medium.
