Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of tourist attractions on visitor satisfaction at the Umbul Manten tourist destination in Klaten, Central Java. Tourist attraction is one of the key factors in creating a pleasant and satisfying travel experience, which in turn affects the visitors’ intention to return or recommend the destination. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who were visitors of Umbul Manten. The tourist attraction variable was measured using the 4A indicators (Attraction, Accessibility, Amenity, Ancillary Service), while visitor satisfaction was measured based on expectation fulfillment, intention to revisit, and willingness to recommend. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS 26. The results show that tourist attraction has a positive and significant influence on visitor satisfaction, with a significance value of 0.006 (< 0.05) and a regression coefficient of 0.189. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.074, indicating that tourist attractions explain 7.4% of the variation in visitor satisfaction. These findings indicate that the optimal management of tourist attractions can enhance visitor satisfaction and strengthen Umbul Manten’s position as a leading tourist destination.
