Abstract

This research is a quantitative study that discusses the relationship between overcoming waste problems and tourist satisfaction at Labuhan Haji Beach, East Lombok. The study aims to solve the waste problem at Labuhan Haji Beach and attract tourists back. Although the waste problem is a serious problem in the field of tourism caused by humans and nature, the use of descriptive methods to present data in an easy-to-understand manner has not been sufficiently considered in this study. Data collection methods in this study include observation, and distributing questionnaires to visitors of Labuhan Haji Beach, East Lombok. This data was analyzed using SPSS. The results of this study analyzed the relationship between waste management problems encountered at Labuhan Haji Beach, East Lombok and their impact on tourist satisfaction. The study also identified beach accessibility, facilities and landfill locations. This study is expected to provide guidelines for managers, local communities, and the government to pay attention to waste problems and manage them appropriately for tourist satisfaction.
