Abstract

The Indonesian nation is a nation that has a lot of diversity both in terms of customs, culture, religion, ethnicity and language. Nature tourism such as marine tourism is one of the tourist objects that many tourists visit in Indonesia. Ngitun Beach is located in Purwodadi Village, Tepus District, Gunung Kidul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Ngitun Beach is known as a beautiful beach with natural beauty and a sunset panorama. But the beauty of this beach is unknown to many people, due to lack of promotion. Therefore, a marketing strategy is needed to increase tourist visits in Gunung Kidul. This study aims to find out the obstacles in promoting Ngitun Beach tourism object, to find out community participation in marketing Ngitun Beach attractions and provide advice to the government, managers and the public about the marketing strategy for Ngitun Beach.
