Abstract

Brawijaya Museum is one of the historical tourism attractions in Malang, East Java. Brawijaya Museum is a specific museum that collects objects of independence war of the Indonesian Republic from 1945 until now.The collections such as paintings of the important figures, vehicles of war, weapons and another equipment that used in war. This research is about The Development of Brawijaya Museum as a historical tourist attraction in Malang, East Java. This research is using qualitative research method. The data collected by observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation, and then analyzed using SWOT analysis. Overall, the management of Brawijaya Museum are good, in terms of accessibilities, facilities, human resourches, relations between human resourches, organizations and services. But the development of Brawijaya Museum needs to be done to increase the number of tourist visits.
