Abstract

Bandung has many tourist attractions, one of which is Orchid Forest. Orchid Forest relies on the potential of beautiful natural tourism as an attraction. The type of research used in this study is descriptive using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study by observation (observation), interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the development of Orchid Forest tourism objects had several weaknesses and advantages. Every advantage is a good thing for Orchid Forest because this is one of the attractive factors of tourists. Conversely, weakness becomes an obstacle to its development. Managers must be able to correct existing weaknesses and improve their superiority so that development can run well. The community plays a very important role in developing tourism in Orchid Forest attractions. 90% of employees come from the local community, this is expected to be a reference so that the relationship between HR runs well.
