Abstract

Museum Sonobudoyo Yogyakarta is a state museum that has the second largest number of collectibles in Indonesia. In 2019 the application of Digitalization was carried out on several museum collection objects. The purpose of the implementation of Digitalization in Museum Sonobudoyo provides experience and ease in providing information on collectibles to visitors. This research aims to see how effective the application of Digitalization in Museum Sonobudoyo in attracting tourists. The method used in this study is qualitative, by describing internal and external factors in the attraction, and using SWOT analysis in cultural and historical attractions of Museum Sonobudoyo Yogykarta. Based on observations, interviews and documentation of the effectiveness of the application of Digitalization provides satisfaction to tourists with a satisfaction rate of 96%. Based on the visit data there was a more than 50% increase in visits after the application of the concept of Digitalization at Museum Sonobudoyo Yogyakarta.
