Abstract

The research entitled "The Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on Saloka Theme Park as a Family Recreational Tourist Attraction in Semarang" has the aim of describing the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the operation of a tourist attraction the Saloka Theme Park which is a leading tourist attraction in Semarang Regency that the main attraction is a playground. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, by collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. As a thematic amusement park, the Covid-19 pandemic has had various impacts on Saloka Theme Park, so another strategy is needed to maintain the existing existence and to restore the number of tourists who had dropped dramatically. Some of them are by allocating incoming funds for the convenience and security of tourists, providing entry ticket options, and reducing merchandise production.
