Abstract

East Lampung Regency has many tourist attractions. One of them is Kerang Mas Beach which is one of the priority tourism objects in East Lampung Regency. Located in Muara Gading Mas Village, Labuhan Maringgai District, East Lampung Regency. The research method used is a qualitative method and SWOT analysis as a problem formulation of the development strategy for Kerang Mas Beach Tourism. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. Kerang Mas beach, which is the only coastal tourist destination close to the eastern Sumatra highway, and is one of the priority tourism objects in the new normal era. Kerang Mas Beach is equipped with complete, adequate facilities, water rides, children's playgrounds, photo spots, coffee shops, and good management. The surrounding community also plays a role in the development of the Kerang Mas Beach Tourism, the management and the tourist office of the Kerang Mas Beach Tourism Attraction are also well organized. During the Covid-19 pandemic, managers, the community, and the East Lampung Regency Tourism Office always put forward health protocols in managing the tourist attraction of Kerang Mas Beach.
