Abstract

In its development, tourism is currently one of the sectors that are excellent, especially in Indonesia. MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition) which is one part of Tourism Activity whose management and operation requires maximum quality of team work through the stages from preparation to implementation time in an event or performance. In this study, the authors developed the MICE theme with the title "Safety Quality in National Seminar Events". Security is an important part of the committee of a seminar in the success of the event. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach with SWOT analysis techniques (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat). From the results of these studies produce conclusions and suggestions that are expected to help several parties in the development of the quality of a Security in the implementation of MICE in general and seminar events in particular.
