Abstract
Online Travel Agents (OTAs) have a large role and potential in the tourism industry. Technological support makes OTA have the opportunity to have global coverage with easy access by the world community in booking travel to lodging. The decline in tourist arrivals globally as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic by 1.1 billion visits. This makes 2020 the worst year for the travel and tourism industry. Analysis of the financial aspects of OTAs operating globally is important to be able to see more deeply how big the ef ect of the pandemic on all sides of its operations. Expedia as the largest OTA company in the world is one company that can be used to see the impact of the pandemic on the tourism industry, especially in the travel agency industry.
