Abstract

Pa'ona villager has an important role in preserving the Dayak custom clothes of Kanayant, such as for manages the custom clothes in that place. Dayak Kanayant custom clothes is a cultural heritage that is still sustained and preserved by the villager of Pa'ona by using their custom clothes in the large or small events and also in ritual or ceremony and producing custom clothes typical of Dayak Kanayant. In holding to the Dayak custom clothes eksistential, Kanayant villagers should make an effort and follow the major activities both of in the village or in the outside with some themes to make it more famous in other areas. In making of an indigenous Dayak Kanayant clothes, It must possess the uniqueness and creation of these indigenous clothes. Dayak Kanayant clothes has its own characteristic called kamang clothes (humans from the land of khayangan) red colour dominated (strength or courage), companion with two colors; yellow (glory or prosperity) and white (purity). There are also additional ornaments used in the head which were obtained from the red Andong plant; or the Rinyuakng Leaf
