Abstract

Yogyakarta is a city of culture and history that can be used as the main potential of the tourism industry so it is overwhelmingly popular by tourists. One of the temples in Yogyakarta is Ratu Boko Temple, but this temple has not been much in demand by tourists. This site has become one of the pillars of cultural heritage because of its true capacity. However, this potential cannot be developed because development efforts are not going well. Some objections that should exist in the tourism industry are also not visible on the Ratu Boko Temple Site so that the tourism industry has not made significant commitments to the directors, the state, and the surrounding environmental network. This study expects to frame and plan the right system for the improvement of the Ratu Boko temple Site as a tourist destination. The strategy formulation plan begins by recognizing the internal environment and the external environment by including inspection of tourist sites.
