Abstract

This research aims to: (1) knowing how to develop the right Tumpeng development strategy. (2) knowing what to change and add in the Tumpeng development technique. (3) knowing the increase in public interest in Tumpeng dishes after development. This research on the preservation of Tumpeng dishes was conducted using qualitative descriptive research methods. With this method, it is hoped that readers can easily understand the Central Java Tumpeng development technique. This research was conducted in several stages, namely by observing, followed by conducting interviews, then distributing questionnaires, and finally by documentation. The data obtained from several stages above will be processed with Mind Map analysis which will be presented with the main sentences on a graph in the form of roots that will make it easier for readers to capture and understand the conclusions of the study.
