Abstract

Majalengka is a district in West Java. Majalengka has a lot of tourism potential and is known as the city of a thousand waterfalls, one of which is Curug Cipeuteuy which is a tour that uses waterfalls as the main attraction to increase tourist visits. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods and collecting data by conducting observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. This research was conducted to determine the promotional strategy efforts carried out in Curug Cipeuteuy. Several efforts were made as a promotion to increase visits, namely maintaining existing facilities and adding supporting facilities such as holding acoustic music which is now in great demand by millennials so that it can simultaneously accommodate the creativity of young people in the local area. Managers need to maximize the use of technology for promotional activities, so as not to burden promotional costs. Digital-based promotions are currently very suitable for use because in addition to being effective in reaching broad potential visitors, digital-based promotions can also minimize promotional expenses.
